Gorner Glacier

03/07/2022. The Gorner Glacier view from hike from Rotenboden towards Monte Rosa hut.. The 12.9km long Gorner Glaciier can be seen from Gornregrad mountain station. It flows from the Monte Rosa massif past the foot of the Breithorn and Dufourspitze towards the Matterhorn.

Ian Bailey

Portrait of Ian Bailey on the set of Murder at the Cottage in West Cork. Bailey was arrested twice for the murder of Sophie Toscan du Plantier, yet no charges were laid, due to insufficient evidence. In 2021, director Jim Sheridan made a documentary for Sky Crime about the murder. Bailey was tried in absentia in France after winning a legal battle against extradition. He remains in Ireland. The image was taken on location in Schull in March 20221.

May 2009, the last of the Ballymun Flats in North Dublin are bing torn down. The last of the flats was eventually torn down in 2015.
