30/08/2018. The Orb art installation at Burning Man. It was meant to be reflective, but the dust on the playa made this orbital mirror looks dirty, but it reflected Burning Man, the world’s dustiest event.
Rhone Glacier Grotto
30 June, 2022. Rhone Glacier Grotto. Tarpaulin sticking through two pieces of ice at the Rhone glacier, taken while I was researching my thesis on adaptation to glacier melt. According to glaciologist @matthias_huss, Switzerland recorded the 6percent melt this summer- the worst since monitoring began over 100 years ago.
